Wedding locations in the Netherlands: Kasteel Engelenburg

Kasteel Engelenburg is one of our favourite locations in the Netherlands. I’ve (Peter) been shooting weddings here on a regular basis for almost ten years now and I’ve done business photography assignments here as well. The location has many possibilities when it comes to the planning of your wedding day. In this blogpost I would like to show you what your wedding could look like when you choose this location.

Kasteel Engelenburg is an all in 1 location. You can go here for: the preparations of the bride and groom in one of the two suites (tip: book a suite the night before as well), the wedding ceremony in the conservatory or at the moat, a reception at the forecourt or in the beautiful areas inside and an 8 course dinner or a big party. It’s all possible here. At the end of the day you can sleep here (together with your guests) and the next morning breakfast will be served (‘Vonkelwijn’ included). Next to the castle there’s a 9-holes par 72 golf course designed by golf course architect Donald Steel.
